The CVV is an anti-fraud security measure that helps verify that you are in possession of the payment card. For Visa and Mastercard cards, the number, which has three digits, is printed on the back of the card, next to the space reserved for your signature. In the Caja Rural de Granada Virtual Card it is indicated under the card number.
You can activate them as follows:
First of all, immediately inform VISA that the card is lost or has been stolen, so that it can be blocked, by calling 902 123 209 or (+34) 91 33 46 782. Inform your branch as soon as possible to confirm the theft or loss and verify whether fraudulent use has been made of the card.
If this is the case, you should report it to the police, indicating the date and time of the loss or theft, describing the situation and place where the loss or theft took place and in the event of economic losses, indicate the total amount. Take the report to your branch to process the insurance claim.
All the Caja Rural cards (except the prepaid types) are covered by Loss or Theft insurance. The cover and amount of compensation vary, depending on the type (Credit or Debit) and the product (Visa Gold, Classic, Platinum, Mastercard,….).
